Perth to Host Its First Ever Diner en Blanc in 2016
Following sell out events in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide in 2015, Le Diner en Blanc is set to arrive on Perth shores in 2016.
Australia was one of the first countries to embrace this concept.
Le Dîner en Blanc was first held in Brisbane and Sydney in 2012, followed by Adelaide and Canberra in 2013, and Melbourne in 2015. Now with close to 10,000 participants throughout Australia and wait lists of over 20,000 names for Sydney, and over 4,000 for Melbourne in its first year, Australians have truly embraced the event and its values.
Perth will host in the New Year its own Diner en Blanc, thanks to local hosts Sue Enright, Lisa Reynolds and Nicola Roszak.
“It is a social phenomenon bringing people together who share a passion for elegance, good food and pride in their city and community” said Ms Enright.
“We love the history and anticipation of the Diner en Blanc events around the world. Having experienced this amazing event at the Sydney Opera House, we are excited to bring a little piece of Paris to Perth and to add Perth’s flair to Le Dîner en Blanc.”
The exact date to be announced later on. Registration for the event’s waiting list is now open at perth.dinerenblanc.info/register.
